Pick the right detergent
When it comes to removing tea and coffee stain removal, picking the right products is just as important as following the proper method. One option is to use a separate stain removal product for the pre-treatment stage, and your normal liquid detergent for the washing stage. For example, you may need to do this if you have stained a delicate item of clothing that requires a special kind of detergent. Pre-treatment
It’s important to spring into action immediately after a spill in order to avoid the tea or coffee setting into the fabric. Blot as much excess liquid as you can with a clean and dry cloth, taking care not to rub – a rubbing motion will make the stain worse! Then, apply a little of your chosen stain removing detergent directly on the stain, and let it soak in for a few minutes. Finally, turn your garment inside out and flush the stain out with cold water.
If you’re out and about, don’t worry – simply blot the stain, then complete the pre-treatment as soon as you get home.
Washing
After pre-treating the stain, wash the fabric as normal in the hottest water temperature possible with your selected Persil® detergent. Always be sure to check the care label on your clothing to determine the maximum recommended washing temperature. You can usually remove coffee stains from your clothing with just one wash. If the stain is a little more stubborn, however, you’ll want to repeat the pre-treatment and wash it again.
How to remove coffee stains from wool and other delicate fabrics

However, removing coffee stains from wool, silk, or other delicate fabrics requires the method to be slightly adjusted. After blotting the stain with a dry cloth, take a wet sponge and very carefully dab the stain. Finally, wash the garment according to the care label instructions.
